The Sanctuary of Truth

Stretching to the sky, 105 meters, graceful, with fine carvings, the "Temple of Truth", built exclusively from teak wood, by a Thai businessman and Buddhist, in the north of Pattaya, has gained popularity not only in Thailand, but also in the world. Almost every tourist who has a rest in this resort town definitely sets aside a day for a trip to this building.

Long before the trip, many tourists book a car in Thailand online to get a favorable rental rate, see more attractions and not depend on tour groups. At Bangkok airport, the cost of a compact class car is from 15 euros per day, in Pattaya you can rent a car from 14 euros per day.

An amazing combination of religion, oriental philosophy, art and culture is captured in architecture, and in a huge variety of sculptures, looking at which you are amazed at the skill of Thai masters. After such an excursion, our temples seem simply primitive. Interestingly, the humid climate, high temperatures and damp winds from the sea constantly undermine this example of Thai culture, forcing workers, carpenters and sculptors to constantly replace damaged parts.

At the temple, a little to the side is a giant workshop, where you can enjoy watching the agile work of wood craftsmen. The architecture of Buddhist temples is very interesting, the elements and architecture of which contain aspects and stages of Buddhism. The temple receives visitors from 08:00 to 17:00, and the entrance ticket to the Temple of Doom costs $11.
