For visitors who want to use public transportation, there are buses that stop at numerous locations on the island. These include Tamuning, Sanlie Beach, Hagatna, and several other locations. The minibus is approximately twenty minutes to the closest major airport, and twenty minutes to the nearest major hotel on Pacific Beach Road. From there, the journey takes approximately one and a half hours. Once arriving in Guam, you can either take a bus or taxi or ride the ferry to San Diego. Another option for arriving in Guam is to fly into the island, which takes approximately two hours. If you prefer to drive, there are tolls available to the island. There are some hotels in Guam, and there are a handful of private beaches that are accessible by ferry from San Diego.
