Recently, I read an article on "Budget Ibiza Airport Car Rental Discounts." In that article, the writer suggested that people flying from the United Kingdom should book their car at the airport in order to save money. He cited an example of someone who had done just that and saved about 25% on his flight. While that is a good idea, I would like to offer some additional information on this issue.

It also depends on whether you get dropped or picked up from the airport. There is a pretty big drop-off area and if you get picked up from the airport, you will need to find your own transport to get to your accommodation."

If you are flying from Spain to Ibiza and flying direct, be aware that car rental discounts are only valid for the first hour and half. Once the discount expires, the rate will return to normal. There are no refunds, late fees or added penalties for cancelling. Make sure you read the terms of service before booking a holiday with a Spanish travel company.
